Today our Gazebo arrived – KJ put in up in Nanuja’s car park to see how good it looks…. We are getting closer to having our first stall, at a market in Durban. We have so much to learn. We have no idea of how much we will sell, how many bottles of kimchi to take, how many rolls of kimpab we will be making, number of gotchi skewers and chicken meatballs….Roll on the learning curve…
We are so excited to be bringing four exciting Korean delights, to the I heart Market this Saturday.
Gotchi 닭꼬치 – a delicious skewer of chicken in the most awesome bulgogi marinade cooked over an open flame.
Kimbap 김밥 – Durbanites might think this is Japanese sushi, but it is different – in Korea Kimbap is made with a large variety of everyday ingredients this weekend we have: Short grain rice, Sausage, Carrot, Campio root, Yellow radish, Seaweed, Egg and Sesame seeds.
Chicken meatballs 닭강정 Sticky and gooey! Made with Korean’s famous Gotchujang (hot pepper) paste.
Kimchi 김치 – This is the most famous Korean traditional fermented superfood, it’s made with cabbage, red pepper, flour, sugar, fishsauce, onion, radish, chives, garlic and ginger.
WOW! Registering our domain name & selecting a hosting company, setting up a website, but most exciting of all unpacking our container with goods from Korea! Let the craziness begin! KJ Lee and Mr Lim’s partnership begins…..
